Because they were purposely built with away sections there.
Ours isn't.

Gav, Why is it the Boleyn and some others separate the fans by maybe 10 seats, and the likes of Arsenal, Man U and City don't?

though thinking about it, it is likely to be in the high 66s given that you need to separate crowds on both sides of the away.

The OS pitch will be 5m longer and 2m wider than Stoke as they have or had one of the smallest and not in line with PL desired standards.

66,000 ties in with 1966 and the 1966 club and all that though Gav, they may cap for that reason

There's 67,016 seats in there, I'd imagine that they would want to sell all of them.

I know the eventual result at Stoke was disappointing, but our performance there on Sunday was excellent for the most part. Could be a good sign if the pitch size at the OS turns out to be similar.

Re: OS at 66000

The initial release was 1,100 remember.
Had the demand not surprised everyone, we'd have only sold 2% of tickets at the price they pushed the most.
They're tied in for two seasons and all those additional Band 5 people.

would have to be as further back than the current band 5
14,000 289 quid seats, nobody could accuse us of not backing up the affordable football promise

This last additional 6k Gav, are they all Band 5 too meaning we'll have 13-14k Band 5 seats?

next 7k.
They'll have to be band 5 as well.
Have to find space for some more bogs first.

yeah that sounds right, I was getting mixed up which 6k lot you were talking about (I thought you meant 8k before the move from 54 to 60)

Re: OS at 66000

The original batch was about 1,100 I think and then when they announced the first set of extra 6k, they were ALL Band 5 as far as I understand.
So, that's 7,100 odd.
They haven't said anything at all about the next additional 6k which is odd as they crowed about the first 6k.

So Dicksie was licking himself in a hotel corridor and wanking off blokes in the pub?
Gone up massively in my estimation.
Should get together with bubblebrainbrian

Cheers.
Just got " armchair " supporters saying if our club sold tickets for that price, I'd go.
They've never been to a game.

It was 8,000 up until they release the last 6k seats. Dunno where they are.
